The onset of summer was marked by a massive invasion of green areas of the city leaf beetle. Elms resemble a mesh web. Beetles, caterpillars and larvae feed sweetly leaves around the clock. Pests prefer to eat two types of elms - pinnately branched and small-leaved. These trees make up 65% of the total weight of the green fund regional center.

"Green Fund over the last 2-3 years, exposed to the mass invasion of elm leaf beetle. From the trees is only a skeleton. Most pest feeds on elm ", - said Deputy Chief Lukpan Utebaliev.
