Petropavlovsk airport may close

International airport of Petropavlovsk, recently returned to state ownership, is on the verge of closure due to the poor condition of the building and equipment, according to news agency "Novosti-Kazakhstan" deputy transport prosecutor North Kazakhstan oblast Yerlan Shaldybaev.

He noted that the act of prosecutorial response to close the airport is already supported by the main transport prosecutor's office in Kazakhstan and sent to the Ministry of Transport and Communications for a decision.
