The organizers of the World Cup was the Republican MMA Martial Arts Union of Kazakhstan (RSBIK) and the World Federation of the mixed martial arts MMA Nomad. MMA competition of this level were held in Kazakhstan for the first time.
The number of candidates exceeded 400. Participated teams representing the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Estonia, Ukraine, South Korea, China and the Russian Federation, which included teams of Dagestan, Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya. China introduced the team of the International Federation of Kung Fu.
