Financial police stopped work illegally operating a casino.

According to the press service of the Department of Financial Police of the South-Kazakhstan region, underground casino operated in a private house in the neighborhood of Nowruz. It was organized by a local resident. The casino staff even worked - dealers and service personnel. Financial police seized the money in the amount of 600 thousand tenge, chips, playing cards and poker table. In this case, the police found out that the illegal casino customers were mostly businessmen, visited the casino and state employees.

We have solved the issue brought against the organizers of illegal businesses and individuals involved in the criminal case on st.269-1 Part 2 of the Criminal Code (illegal gambling business). The financial police have urged all residents of southern Kazakhstan to report the facts of an illegal organization gambling helpline.

Recall, according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On gambling", casinos and slot machine halls are to be posted in strictly designated gambling zones, namely in the Almaty region - on the shore of the reservoir and in Kapshagai Shchuchyn district of Akmola region within the boundaries defined by the local authorities.
